Systems Engineering is everything I wanted to do. The program combines the managerial aspect of engineering with the main concepts of business, leadership, and systems approach. The faculty of the department have invaluable industry experience that makes classes a better learning environment. Classes are small and students develop personal relationships with the instructors through closer interactions. Systems Engineering is the way to go.

I chose Systems Engineering because it provided a business background to the decisions made in the engineering world. Systems Engineering taught me how to think.  The point of college is to provide a broad range of knowledge and technical skills that allow the graduate to make sound engineering and business decisions. The program at UNC Charlotte has prepared me to pursue a rewarding career in my profession of choice and continue my education in graduate school.
