The Junior Design class of Mechanical Engineering Professor Tony Schmitz designed and build robotic fishing rod casting devices, and then tested their creations at Bass Pro Shop. The competition included casting for accuracy and distance. The teams also had the opportunity to present their product to a panel of business leaders creating a "Shark Tank" like experience! A video of the event is here.
