Dr. Hong's New Energy Analytics Course Accepted for IIF Student Forecasting Awards

Dr. Tao Hong, assistant professor of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management Energy, created a new Energy Analytics course that was recognized by the International Institute of Forecasters (IIF) and qualifies students to apply for the Student Forecasting Awards. The IIF offers prizes to top-performing students in undergraduate and graduate level forecasting courses. No more than 20 universities/courses across the globe are recognized for this prestigious award. The initial award includes courses starting in 2014 and early 2015. Dr. Hong's course is eligible for the next five years.

Winning students receive $100 each year, a Certificate of Achievement from the IIF and a free one year membership of the Institute. The award is granted for up to five years. Students interested in learning more about the award, visit: International Institute of Forecasters.
