Speaker: John F. Small

Abstract: Government and Private Sector projects across the globe have gotten larger and more complex. Mega-projects of more than $1 billion, experience a disproportionate failure rate. What are the causes of mega-project failures, and what can be done to prevent failure? The answers to these questions are of paramount importance to government managers, owners and project delivery companies throughout the world.


John has over 30 years of engineering and construction project delivery experience in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. John began his career in field construction management and advanced to top executive management positions with major global project delivery companies. Most recently, John was the Executive Vice President of Samsung C&T Corporation and Head of Corporate Mining Group.
