Several members of the college’s Office of Student Development and Success partnered with Toshiba and the UNC Charlotte Center for STEM to educate the next generation of female engineers during the Southern Women’s Show Sept. 19-22 at the Charlotte Convention Center. Technical hands-on displays and a variety of educational material were part of the exhibition booth managed by Gina Robinson, Linda Hargrove, Meg Harkins, Linda Thurman and several students from the college. The event was well-attended and well-received by the hundreds of individuals who stopped, by including several female engineering alumni and William “Bill” States Lee’s family!  Special thanks to Toshiba for sponsoring the show’s exhibit space for the college.
